Anna Rebecca Clasen

Anna Rebecca Clasen is mixed-media artist and multi-instrumentalist from Wisconsin Rapids, WI.

I have always been a human of many passions. Most of my life has revolved around self-expression and discovering new modes of creation. I am the child of a drummer and a visual artist - so being a product of my environment, I've naturally gravitated towards art and music throughout my time on earth. I see my life as a never ending quest for knowledge and hope that through my work I can learn more about myself as well as the world around me - while simultaneously providing a thought-provoking experience of beauty and pleasure to my audience.

I am currently pursuing degrees in jazz studies and studio arts. My goal is to continue exploring the intersection of art and music - I'm working towards combining various mediums and disciplines to create multi-dimensional, sensory, and often interactive works and installations. I also perform locally, produce music, DJ for local radio, and run an online second-hand shop / sustainable styling service (see 'circular fashion' tab).
